I completed my PhD in Prof. Jens Stein's lab at the University of Fribourg, where I worked to develop a basic understanding of T- and B-cell migration behaviour across several tissues, with a focus on B-cell chemotaxis via PI3Kδ and DOCK2 signalling. I then joined a translational, interdisciplinary bone biomechanics lab at ETH Zurich for my first postdoc, broadening my background in in vivo research. My imaging expertise, together with my background in immunology, is now central to my work in the LeibundGut lab, where I study the Th17 response to Candida albicans in the oral mucosa. Besides science, I enjoy baking, going to concerts, and dancing.
