I studied Pharmaceutical Sciences at ETH Zurich, where I discovered my passion for immunology, and then spent some time investigating the immune response to urinary tract infections at USZ/UZH before joining the LeibundGut lab. Here, I am focusing on the identification of virulence factors of Malassezia in the context of atopic dermatitis.

Besides science, my undisputedly greatest passion is performing in musicals. I also enjoy decorating cakes (especially science themed cakes), spending time with friends (ideally in the mountains), organising fun stuff and learning and doing new things.
